Rita has worked in pediatric medicine for over 25 years, and has served overseas since 2000. She lived in Mongolia from 2000 to 2014, directing projects offering practical help and hope to needy families in the form of medical treatment, education and life-skills training as well as providing training to Mongolian pediatricians. She moved to China in 2014 with her two adopted sons Luke and David, and joined the New Day North team in 2016, where she provides medical training and consultation for their projects serving orphans with special needs.
